Peer Reveiw....Unit 7
I actually like to have peer review, it gives me the chance to get feedback from others especially when I feel like I could have done a little better on something. It gives me a opportunity to see if the person reviewing my paper feels I need improvement on the same thing that I do. I have never really had any bad experiences because other than this I have never really written that many papers. What I have done though and have experienced I like it I think that there is nothing wrong with getting a little extra help from someone else that is only trying to help. Even if I did not totally agree with the changes that they might suggest I still say Thank you, nothing wrong with thinking about a few changes.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you that peer reviews can be so helpful, especially when they are done tactfully and when we are willing to accept the changes we may need to make. It's not always easy to hear that something we've worked hard on needs improving, but the process can really help us learn and grow if we are open to listening to a more objective opinion. Last week I know you had a scary time with your daughter and her asthma and I just wanted to tell you that your strength and perserverence do not go unnoticed. You are a beautiful strong young women (you remind me very much of a very dear friend of mine) and the difficulties you are experiencing will only mold and shape you into an even more extraordinary person, if you do not give up!
More power to you---from one overworked mom to another!
